Well, the server's down. My hosting provider said they're having trouble with the whole "panel", which I think means the shared server I'm using.
Anyway, you can't play. It sucks.

Switch to VoidsWrath Mod Pack
So we decided to switch and use the VoidsWrath Mod Packs. Mod packs are sets of mods that people have put together to give a certain feel to the game - to change it in a deeper way than just single mods usually accomplish.
Mod packs often have their own launcher, and this is true of the VoidsWrath guys. The launchers are in the mods download folder, and you can get them from there. The windows one is, unfortunately, much better, so it can be kind of hard to get the universal one to work.
Just download the launcher, and, for windows, unzip it, and then run it. Sign in at the top of the launcher using your normal Minecraft username/password, and it will download the mods it needs for you!
There is a list of modpacks at the left of the launcher, and that's where you pick what pack you want to use. We're using the Fellowship pack, which is supposed to give LOtRish experience. It's actually a lot of fun.
Just select the Fellowship pack from the list at the left (if you can't find it, try scrolling down), then click either "log in" at the top or "load modpack" a little to the right. It will load the mods up and launch, and then you can connect to the server!
Also, the banner isn't really working anymore. The server is up, I promise! (probably)

New Mod - Thaumcraft!
Thaumcraft is a great mod about using Alchemy to do awesome things in Minecraft!
